DASA and CIWG: A Pathway for Indian Students to Study Abroad

Studying abroad is a dream for many Indian students, but the process of getting admission to foreign universities can be complicated and competitive. However, two initiatives by the Indian government have made the process easier for Indian students: Direct Admission to Students Abroad (DASA) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf (CIWG). DASA - Direct Admission to Students Abroad Direct Admission to Students Abroad (DASA) is a scheme launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to provide direct admission to foreign universities for Indian students. This scheme is specifically designed for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and foreign nationals of Indian origin.
